The Senate did not agree to a motion moved by Senator Siewert to refer the matter of the extent and effectiveness of certain regulations made under the Social Security Act 1991 with reference to the committee’s recommendations contained in its report on the Employment and Workplace Relations Legislation Amendment (Welfare to Work and Other Measures) (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2005 and the Family and Community Services Legislation Amendment (Welfare to Work) Bill 2005 to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee
