Proposed reference

The Senate did not agree to refer matters relating to renewable energy feed-in tariffs in Australia to the Economics Committee.

Notice of motion given

A notice of motion was given to refer matters relating to the risks associated with the rise in sea level in Australia to the Environment, Communications, Information Technology and the Arts Committee for report by 3 December 2007.

Membership

The Senate agreed that Senator Sherry replace Senator Carol Brown on the Finance and Public Administration Committee for the committee's inquiry into the Superannuation Legislation Amendment Bill 2007.
