  • Employment and Workplace Relations Legislation Amendment (Welfare to Work and Other Measures) Bill 2005
  • European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Amendment Bill 2005
  • Family and Community Services Legislation Amendment (Welfare to Work) Bill 2005

The following bill was considered

  • Workplace Relations Amendment (Work Choices) Bill 2005––second reading agreed to and committee of the whole commenced–28 Government amendments agreed to [The Senate agreed that the bill was “urgent”. The Senate also agreed to allot times when stages for the consideration of the bill would be completed. The Senate will consider the bill on Friday 2 December 2005 , with the final stage allotted by 6.00pm .]

No bills were passed

The following message from the House of Representatives was reported

  • Migration and Ombudsman Legislation Amendment Bill 2005–The message reported that the House of Representatives agreed to the bill without amendment [The bill will now be assented to]
