Health Insurance Act 1973 to: introduce a shared debt recovery scheme that provides that, where contractual or other arrangements exist between a practitioner and an employer or corporate entity, both may be held responsible for the repayment of a compliance debt; and clarify that the jurisdiction of the Professional Services Review extends to officers of organisations that engage Medicare practitioners as contractors;
Health Insurance Act 1973 and
Dental Benefits Act 2008 in relation to record-keeping requirements, administrative penalties and debt-recovery arrangements; and
National Health Act 1953 to: enable the recovery of certain statutory debts by giving a garnishee notice; and introduce requirements for pharmacists to provide documents to substantiate claims.
