    to: authorise the Treasurer to borrow money on behalf of the Commonwealth by issuing stock denominated in Australia currency (subject to the total face value amount not exceeding $75 billion); and provide for the creation of stock and securities for facilitating securities lending arrangements;
    Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997
    to permit the Treasurer to invest public money in authorised investments for purposes other than 'managing the public debt of the Commonwealth'; and
    Loans Securities Act 1919
