    to: increase the maximum period of flexible paid parental leave by 2 weeks each year from 1 July 2024 to 26 weeks from 1 July 2026; increase the reserved period for partnered claimants by one week each year from 1 July 2025 to 4 weeks from 1 July 2026; increase the number of days that can be taken concurrently by multiple claimants to 4 weeks by 1 July 2025; and make minor and technical amendments relating to eligibility for parental leave pay in exceptional circumstances.

    to provide eligible social security pensioners over age pension age, and certain veterans’ entitlement recipients over qualifying age, with a $4,000 work bonus concession balance on commencement and a permanent increase to the maximum concession balance they can accrue;
