with references to the proposed Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2000
; 5 Acts to provide procedures to be followed by the ART in reviewing certain decisions; Federal Court of Australia Act 1976
to enable certain interlocutory and procedural matters to be dealt with by a single judge; and makes consequential amendments to 125 Acts. Also contains application and transitional provisions.

Bills and committees
The House of Representatives Selection Committee and the Senate Selection of Bills Committee routinely consider whether bills should be referred to committees for inquiry and report.
