Richard Baker Senate Prize - Previous Winners
The Prize may be awarded by the President of the Senate to one entry or equally to two entries, on the advice of the judging panel. Since its establishment, the Prize has each year been awarded to two entrants:

Stanley Bach for his book Platypus and Parliament: the Australian Senate in Theory and Practice. Canberra, Department of the Senate, 2003.
Verona Burgess for her series of informative and publicly accessible articles on the Senate and the Parliament, published in The Canberra Times.
2004
Ian Hancock for his monograph The V.I.P. Affair: the Causes, Course and Consequences of a Ministerial and Public Service Cover-up. Canberra, Australasian Study of Parliament Group, 2004.
Sarah Bachelard for her article ‘Executive Accountability in the “Children Overboard” Affair’, The Table, vol. 71, 2003.
