CHOICE OF SUPERANNUATION FUNDS ROUND TABLE

The Senate Select Committee on Superannuation and Financial Services will be conducting a Round Table Hearing in Sydney on Tuesday, 14 December 1999.

The Committee was established on 11 October 1999 to inquire into matters pertaining to superannuation and financial services referred to it by the Senate.

The Round Table will bring together a large group of key players from the superannuation industry, industry associations, consumer organisations, employers and the trade union movement. The aim of the hearing is to provide the Committee with an opportunity to identify, with the assistance of key individuals and organisations, the best features which might be considered in any future choice of funds regime.

Attached are a copy of the draft program and the list of participants.
