Subject: GOLD PASSES for former members of Parliament
The Secretary, Senate Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee

Dear Sir,
I object to Gold Passes being given to former members of Parliament. The burden on taxpayers has reached the stage where the majority of Australians can barely cope with the pension in retirement, let alone sustain a reasonable standard of living.
It is obscene for politicians to recieve so much benefit already.

There seems to be a culture amoungst politicians that the public purse is there to be raped.

I can assure you that ordinary Australians have had a gut full of this continued feeding at the trough at Taxpayers expense and I for one request that it be stopped forthwith.

Yours sincerely
