Subject: life gold pass
It is my firm belief that under NO circumstances should any past or present member of parliament be entitled to a gold pass.   They have inflated salaries and yearly increases way beyond the ordinary Australian.   Highly subsidized superannuation and pension packages - in some cases after only one term in office.   They should, like everyone else, stand on their own two feet (after all, they are always telling everyone else they should provide for themselves in retirement) and not expect the nation to keep giving them thousands of dollars  more each year to travel anywhere they wish  etc. etc.  It's rather like double dipping -it's  NOT FAIR, and the nation cannot afford to continue with this outdated practice.   ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
