Re:  SALE OF TELSTRA

I am writing to this committee to give my vote of no confidence to the sale of the remainder of Telstra.  Deregulation has been proven worldwide (look at the US energy crisis) to be unworkable.  Its important, especially at this time, that the Australian people hold on to assets that belong to the country.

Unfortunately, the economy is based on the share market and not in real physical economy.

The wealth of a country is graded by the people having jobs dont you agree?  Telstra are already putting some people off in our local office.

So I am against the sale of Telstra.

Just a thought for the day a famous saying by Abraham Lincoln

You can fool some of the people all of the time,, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you cant fool all of the people all of the time.

Yours sincerely
