Dear Senators,

Please find below the response I have received from Telstra in relation to my numerous enquiries to them for some factual pricing figures in relation to telephone charge usage costs.

This response is unacceptable  and even more frightenining considering the possibility of the full privatization of Telstra.

Telstra needs to exercise much more accountability to its clients before any serious consideration of full privatization becomes reality.

"Dear Mr Matthews

Thank you for your ongoing email correspondence.

Unfortunately, we cannot release the actual costs to Telstra of calls
as this is commercially sensitive information that we do not make
public.

We appreciate you taking the time to document your concerns.
Should you have any future enquiries please continue to use our email
correspondence services."

Yours sincerely,
Brad Wallace
Telstra Representative
