Hello
My name is Aldo Taranto
Personnel within our local library network need to
be increasingly conscious to identify members of the community who are not
"computer literate". Many of us continue to make assumptions that a majority of
library users have adequate fundamentals computer skills.
It is not the role of our library network to offer
support and training for people who are not adequately computer literate.
There are a number of adult education centres state wide and capable and
approachable computer tutors within these centres where such clients can be
referred to.
Adult Education Centres (Community Centres)
offering computer skills programs and the library network should have a closer
relationship with each other.
Thanking you for the opportunity to
comment.
