Inquiry into the Terrorist Organisation Listing Provisions of the Criminal Code Act 1995

Section 102.1A (2) of the Criminal Code Act 1995 requires the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security to review, as soon as possible after the third anniversary of the commencement of this section, the operation, effectiveness and implications of section 102.1(2), (2A), (4), (5), (6), (17) and (18) and report the Committee's comments to each House of Parliament and the Minister.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference above by Friday 2 February 2007. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to pjcis@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
