Inquiry into the Native Title Amendment Bill 2012
On 29 November 2012 the Selection Committee asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Native Title Amendment Bill 2012.
Mr Ken Wyatt AM, MP has been appointed as a supplementary member for this inquiry
The Committee requests interested individuals and organisations to make submissions. The Committee invites submissions to the inquiry by Thursday 31 January 2013, addressing:
- whether a sensible balance has been struck in the Bill between the views of various stakeholders, and/or
- proposals for future reform of the Native Title process.
