Gulf War II: Iraq 2003

The US and British troops have encountered fierce fighting in Al-Nasiriyah and Basra. There have been ambushes on supply lines and suicide bomber attacks. MORE

US combat-related deaths so far number 134. The exact numbers of Iraqi civilian deaths are not known. What is known is that Iraqi hospitals are overwhelmed by large numbers of wounded people brought in for treatment, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warned. MORE
