Administrative Law
Bill was negatived in the Senate 26 February
2001.
The principal objects of
the Institute are to promote knowledge of and interest in Australian
Commonwealth, State and Territory administrative law and to provide
a forum for exchange of information and opinions on all aspects of administrative
law and administrative practices.
CIPL was established
in 1990 with an objective to focus and develop its areas of expertise
on the relationship between governments, and between governments and
their citizens, from both a domestic and international perspective.
The Centre is a focal point for research into
and discussion of important questions of public law for the academic,
