2002-03 Portfolio Budget Statement

This is the Portfolio Budget Statement for the Department of the House of Representatives for the financial year 2002-03. It is provided in recognition of my obligation for accountability to the House, and through it, the public.

The Statement is to inform you of the proposed allocation of resources to the planned outcome for the Department.

The Statement has been designed to provide information, explanation and justification on each appropriation item in the 2002-03 Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Bill. The Statement also specifies the attributes of the Department's outputs (ie price, quantity, quality and timeliness) and outcome performance measures.
