Standing Committee on Family and Community Affairs

Under the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives, standing committees are appointed for the life of the Parliament.

A resolution of appointment was passed by the House of Representatives on 18 November 2004 establishing the Standing Committee on Family and Human Services for the 41st Parliament (2002 - 2007).

A resolution of appointment was passed by the House of Representatives on 12 February 2008 establishing the Standing Committee on Family, Community, Housing and Youth for the 42nd Parliament.
