Inquiry into community stores in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
On Thursday 4 December 2008 the Hon Jenny Macklin MP, Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs requested the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs inquire into and report on the operation of community stores in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions, addressing the terms of reference by Friday 20 February 2009. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.
In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to atsia.reps@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
