Committee activities (inquiries and reports)
Under the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives, standing committees are appointed for the life of the Parliament.
A resolution of appointment was passed by the House of Representatives on 18 November 2004 establishing the Standing Committee on Health and Ageing for the 41st Parliament. This committee has been reformed for the 42nd Parliament.
