Joint Standing Committee on Migration

Migration Legislation Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2000

On 12 April 2000 the Joint Standing Committee on Migration was asked by the Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, the Hon Philip Ruddock MP, to consider and report on the Migration Legislation Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2000.

The Committee would welcome written submissions from anyone who wishes to comment specifically on the proposed amendments (see terms of reference).

Submissions should be recieved by the Committee by Monday, 1 May 2000. Please send your submissions in writing or by email to:
