Location: north-western outskirts of Melbourne; it includes the suburbs of Aberfeldie, Airport West, Albion, Avondale Heights, Brooklyn, Essendon, Essendon North, Essendon West, Kealba, Keilor East, Keilor Park, Maribyrnong, Moonee Ponds, Niddrie, St Albans, Sunshine, Sunshine North and Tullamarine.
Area: 71 sq km (approx.)
Electors enrolled: 88 412 (at 21.8.10).
Industries: light manufacturing, retail and service industries.
State electorates: Maribyrnong includes parts of the Victorian Legislative Assembly electorates of Derrimut, Essendon, Footscray, Kororoit and Niddrie.
