Inquiry into Law Enforcement Integrity models

Information about the Inquiry

On 15 May 2008, the Parliamentary Joint Committee on the Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity initiated an inquiry into law enforcement integrity models pursuant to subsection 215(1)(d) of the Law Enforcement Integrity Commissioner Act 2006. Terms of Reference for the inquiry are below.

The Committee invites submissions to the inquiry, addressing some or all of the terms of reference. The deadline for receipt of submissions is 26 June 2008, however extensions of time may be negotiated with the Secretariat prior to the deadline.

The Committee prefers submissions to be sent electronically, and postal and email addresses are specified below. Submitters are requested to ensure that all personal details, including names and addresses are contained within a document separate from the submission (such as a covering letter).

All submissions become Committee documents upon receipt and may be published, including on the internet. Persons lodging submissions, however, must not make them public without the prior written approval of the Committee.
