Inquiry into provisions of the Defence Legislation Amendment Bill 2006

On 12 October 2006, the Senate today varied the reference to the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee on the provisions of the Defence Legislation Amendment Bill 2006 to extend the reporting date to 27 October 2006 and to allow the committee to consider any proposed government amendments to the bill.
