Government responses to committee reports


Senate Statistical Information

 

Governments give careful consideration to Senate committee reports and may act on their recommendations. Successive governments have undertaken to inform the Senate of their responses to committee reports within a particular period.

The President reports to the Senate twice a year on those responses which are outstanding.
