Inquiry into the practice of sports science in Australia
INTERIM REPORT
Dear Mr President,
The practice of sports science in Australia was referred to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee by the Senate on 16 May 2013, for inquiry and report by 27 June 2013. On 20 June 2013, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 10 July 2013. The committee tabled an interim report on the reference on that date and sought an extension of the reporting date to 15 July 2013.
The Committee has received 21 submissions, and has held a public hearing in Canberra, on Wednesday, 12 June 2013.
The Committee wishes to extend this reporting date to 23 July 2013. This would allow it to fully consider the evidence and to conclude its deliberations.
