Community Affairs Committee

Select Committee on the National Broadband Network

The Senate is inquiring into the Government’s reviews of the NBN and the governance of NBN Co. The date for the final report has been extended to the last day of the 44th Parliament. Economics Committee

The Senate Economics References Committee is inquiring into the following matters:

Retail leasing arrangements–need for a national approach to retail leasing arrangements to create a fairer system and reduce the burden on small to medium businesses with associated benefits to landlords. Report date: 30 October.

Structure and development of forestry managed investment schemes (MIS). Report date: 27 October.

Naval shipbuilding in Australia–future sustainability of Australia's strategically vital naval ship building industry. Report date: 1 July 2015.
