Twenty-sixth Report of the 44th Parliament

On Tuesday, 18 August 2015, the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights (PJCHR) tabled its Twenty-sixth Report of the 44th Parliament. This report provides the PJCHR's view on the compatibility with human rights as defined in the Human Rights (Parliamentary Scrutiny) Act 2011 of bills introduced into the Parliament during the period 10 to 13 August 2015 and legislative instruments received between 12 June and 6 August 2015. The committee also considered three responses to the committee's comments in its previous reports.
