Inquiry into residential strata title insurance
The inquiry is now closed.
On 24 November 2011 the
Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation, The Hon Bill Shorten MP, asked the Committee,
in addition to
insurance issues pertaining to natural disasters, to inquire into and report on
residential strata title insurance.
The Committee is in its final stages of deliberations in relation to this inquiry and is preparing a report to be tabled in Parliament by April 2012. Please note that submissions for this inquiry have now closed and that no late submissions will be accepted.
