In 1987 the House Standing Committee on Transport, Communications and Infrastructure together with the Senate Standing Committee on Transport, Communications and Infrastructure formed a Joint Sub-Committee who tabled three reports on 1 September, 10 November and 23 November 1988 respectively. Collectively, these reports are entitled Reports on proposals for variations to the plan of layout of the City of Canberra and its environs.
