On Thursday 14 September 2006 Mr Billson (Minister for Veterans' Affairs) for Mr Nairn (Special Minister of State), moved that the Joint Standing Committee on Public Works consider and report on the Proposed extension and accommodation upgrade to the existing chancery of the Australian Embassy in Beijing, China.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the committee would prefer them to be emailed to jcpw@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
