Inquiry into Question Time procedures
All Committees in the House of Representatives and joint committees of the Senate and House of Representatives for the 41st Parliament cease to exist upon dissolution of the House of Representatives at 12:00 noon, Wednesday 17th October 2007.
At the prorogation of the Parliament at 12:00 noon Monday 15th October 2007 all committee inquires lapsed. Therefore, this inquiry has now lapsed. More information about the dissolution of the 41st Parliament is available here.
On 19 October 2006 the Committee resolved to inquire into and report on the effectiveness of current standing orders relating to Question Time.
