Reports and other activities
Reports on the Parliamentary Papers series
The Standing Committee routinely makes recommendations to enable the more significant documents presented to the House to be more widely available (eg, in State and university libraries) through the inclusion of those documents in the Parliamentary Papers series. The House may accept the committee's recommendations by passing a motion that the committee's report be adopted. The committee's reports on this matter are reproduced in full in the
Votes and Proceedings at the end of each fortnight of sittings.
Other reports and activities
When meeting with the Senate Publications Committee, the committees are known as the Joint Committee on Publications. The joint committee can initiate inquiries on matters related to government and parliamentary publications and make reports to the House of Representatives and Senate. A list of these reports and more recent activities, is contained on the
Joint Committee on Publications pages.
