Proceedings on 7 July

The Senate will meet on 7 July at 10 am. The Governor-General will administer the oath or affirmation to senators elected to serve from 1 July 2014 and appointed to vacancies thereafter. The Senate will then elect the President of the Senate. The Senate will suspend, resuming at 12 pm to elect the Deputy President
