The committee called the Department of the
Treasury.
The committee will next meet on Monday, 31 May 2010 in House of
Representatives Committee Room 2R1, calling the department and
agencies of the Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
portfolio, commencing with the Australian Nuclear Science and
Technology Organisation.
Environment, Communications and the Arts Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Broadband,
Communications, and the Digital Economy; Climate Change and Energy
Efficiency; Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts
The committee met from 9.03 am until 11.01 pm.
The committee:
- called the Department of Climate Change and
Energy Efficiency; and
- concluded its hearings.
Finance and Public Administration Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Finance and Deregulation;
Human Services; Parliament; Prime Minister and Cabinet
The committee met from 10.05 am until 11.02 pm.
The committee:
- called the department and agencies of the
Finance and Deregulation portfolio, including the Australian
Electoral Commission;
- called the department and agencies of the
Human Services portfolio, including Centrelink and Medicare
Australia; and
- concluded its hearings.
Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Attorney-General;
Immigration and Citizenship
The committee met from 9.03 am until 5.59 pm.
The committee:
- again called the Department of Immigration and
Citizenship; and
- concluded its hearings.
Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Agriculture, Fisheries
and Forestry; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government
The committee met from 9.00 am until 9.10 pm.
The committee:
- again called the department and agencies of
the Infrastructure, Transport Regional Development and Local
Government portfolio, including the Office of Northern Australia,
Airservices Australia, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, the
Office of Transport Security and the Australian Transport Safety
Bureau; and
- concluded its hearings.
