Public meeting
The Senate authorised the Finance and Public Administration
Legislation Committee to hold a public meeting while the Senate is
sitting on 11 March 2010 from 3.30 pm for the
committee’s inquiry into the Governance of Australian
Government Superannuation Schemes Bill 2010 and related
bills.
Reporting date extended
The Senate agreed to extend the reporting date for the inquiry of
the Economics Legislation Committee into the Safe Climate (Energy
Efficient Non-Residential Buildings Scheme) Bill 2009 to 17 March
2010.

Senator Ludlam gave a
notice of motion to require the Minister for Broadband,
