2010-11 Budget estimates
Community Affairs Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Families, Housing,
Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Health and Ageing

current information about the committee’s hearings
The committee met from 9.00 am until 10.20 pm.
The committee called the department and
agencies of the Health and Ageing portfolio, including the
Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, the National Blood
Authority, the Australian Organ and Tissue Donation and
Transplantation Authority, the Aged Care Standards and
Accreditation Agency, General Practice Education and Training Ltd,
the Private Health Insurance Administration Council and the Private
Health Insurance Ombudsman.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 3 June 2010 in Senate
Committee Room 2S1, again calling the Health and Ageing portfolio,
continuing with the department.
Economics Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Innovation; Industry,
Science and Research; Resources, Energy and Tourism; Treasury
For
current information about the committee’s hearings
The committee met from 9.00 am until 9.00 pm.
The committee called the department and
agencies of the Treasury portfolio, including the Australian
Competition and Consumer Commision.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 3 June 2010 in House of
Representatives Committee Room 2R1, again calling Treasury
portfolio, commencing with the Australian Prudential Regulation
Authority.
Education, Employment and Workplace Relations

Workplace Relations portfolio, continuing with the department.
