The committee called the department and
agencies of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts
portfolio, including the National Film and Sound Archive.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 28 May 2009 in Senate
Committee Room 2S3, again calling the department and agencies of
the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts portfolio, commencing
with the department.

agencies of the Finance and Deregulation portfolio, including

Management Agency.

Committee Room 2S1, calling the department and agencies of the
Finance and Deregulation portfolio and the Department of Human
Services, commencing with the Department of Finance and
Deregulation.

The committee met from 9.00am until 11.00pm.
The committee called:
- the department and agencies of the Attorney-General's
portfolio, including the CrimTrac Agency, Insolvency and Trustee
Service Australia, the High Court of Australia and the Office of
the Director of Public Prosecutions; and
- the department and agencies of the Immigration and Citizenship
portfolio, including the Migration Review Tribunal, the Refugee
Review Tribunal and the Migration Agents Registration
Authority.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 28 May 2009 in the
Main Committee Room again calling the department and agencies of
the Immigration and Citizenship portfolio, commencing with the
department.
Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Agriculture, Fisheries
and Forestry; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government

information about the committee's hearings
The committee met from 9.05am until 10.56pm.
The committee called the department and
agencies of the Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government portfolio, including Infrastructure Australia, the
Australian Rail Track Corporation, the Australian Maritime Safety
Authority, and the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional
Economics.
The committee will next meet on Thursday, 28 May 2009 in House
of Representatives Committee Room 2R1, again calling the department
and agencies of the Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development
and Local Government portfolio, commencing with the department.
