the Arts portfolio, commencing with the National Film and Sound
Archive.

Security and the Office of National Assessments.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 27 May 2009 in Senate
Committee Room 2S1, calling the department and agencies of the
Finance and Deregulation portfolio, commencing with the
department.

The committee called agencies of the
Attorney-General's portfolio, including the Australian Federal
Police, Australian Customs and Border Protection Service,
Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, Australian
Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity, Australian Crime
Commission, Australian Institute of Criminology and the Criminology
Research Council.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 27 May 2009 in the
Main Committee Room:
- again calling the department and agencies of the
Attorney-General's portfolio, commencing with the CrimTrac Agency;
and
- calling the department and agencies of the Immigration and
Citizenship portfolio.
Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Agriculture, Fisheries
and Forestry; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government

The committee met from 9.00am until 10.37pm.
The committee again called the department and
agencies of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry portfolio,
including the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, the
Quarantine and Biosecurity Policy Unit, Australian Quarantine and
Inspection Service, Biosecurity Australia, Australian Wool
Innovation, Product Integrity, the Australian Pesticides and
Veterinary Medicines Authority, the Rural Industries Research and
Development Corporation, the Grains Research and Development
Corporation, and the Bureau of Rural Sciences.
The committee will next meet on Wednesday, 27 May 2009 in House
of Representatives Committee Room 2R1, calling the department and
agencies of the Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government portfolio, commencing with the department.
