The Leader of the Australian Greens (Senator Bob Brown) amended
his motion objecting to a ruling of the President on 18 June 2009
(that a child of a senator should be removed from the chamber
during a division), and the Senate agreed to refer a
proposed amendment to standing order 175(3) to the Procedure
Committee for report by 7 September 2009 [first
speaker].
