New inquiry
The Senate referred
matters relating to Australia’s administration and
management of Torres Strait to the Foreign Affairs, Defence and
Trade References Committee for report by 26 February 2010.
Reporting date extended
The Senate agreed to extend the reporting date for the inquiry
of the Economics References Committee into unlimited deposit and
wholesale funding guarantees to 17 September 2009.
