The Senate agreed to establish the
Select Committee on Climate Policy to report by 14 May
2009.
Proposed discontinuation of inquiry
The Senate did not agree to a
motion to discontinue the inquiry of the Rural and Regional
Affairs and Transport Committee into the establishment of an
Australian Football League team for Tasmania.
