New inquiry
The Senate agreed to refer
matters relating to the Government’s Primary Schools for
the 21st Century program to the Education, Employment and Workplace
Relations References Committee.
Private meeting
The Senate authorised the Fuel and Energy Select Committee to
hold a private meeting otherwise than in accordance with standing
order 33(1) on 10 September 2009.
Reporting date extended
The Senate agreed to extend the reporting date for the inquiry
of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee into
annual reports tabled by 30 April 2009 to 15 September
2009.
