Arts
The committee met from 9.04am until 10.06pm.
The committee:
- again called the department and agencies of the Communications
and Information Technology portfolio, including the Australia
Council, the Australian Film Commission, Film Australia Limited,
Film Finance Corporation Australia Limited, the Australian Film,
Television and Radio School, the Australian National Maritime
Museum, the National Library of Australia, the National Gallery of
Australia, the National Museum of Australia and Old Parliament
House; and
- concluded its hearings.
Finance and Public Administration Committee
Portfolios allocated: Finance and Deregulation;
Human Services; Parliament; Prime Minister and Cabinet (including
Climate Change)
The committee met from 9.01am until 10.54pm.
The committee:
- again called the Australian Electoral Commission;
- called the department and agencies of the Human Services
portfolio, including Centrelink, Medicare, Health Services
Australia and Australian Hearing
- called the Department of Climate Change; and
- concluded its hearings.
Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee
Portfolios allocated: Attorney-General;
Immigration and Citizenship
The committee met from 9.00am until 3.00pm.
The committee:
- again called the Department of Immigration and Citizenship;
and
- concluded its hearings.
Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Agriculture, Fisheries
and Forestry; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government
The committee met from 9.00am until 10.40pm.
The committee:
- again called the department and agencies of the Infrastructure,
Transport, Regional Development and Local Government portfolio,
including the Australian Maritime Safety Authority; and
- concluded its hearings.
