The committee met from 9.04am until 11.00pm.
The committee called the department and agencies of the
Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts portfolio, including the
Bureau of Meteorology, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
Authority, the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, the Office of
Supervising Scientist, and the Director of National Parks.
The committee will meet on Thursday, 29 May 2008 in Senate
Committee Room 2S3, again calling the Environment, Water, Heritage
and the Arts portfolio, commencing with the department.
Finance and Public Administration Committee
Portfolios allocated: Finance and Deregulation;
Human Services; Parliament; Prime Minister and Cabinet (including
Climate Change)

The committee called:
- the department and agencies of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
portfolio, including the Australian National Audit Office; and
- the department and agencies of the Finance and Deregulation
portfolio, including Medibank Private Ltd, Comsuper, the Australian
Reward Investment Alliance and the Future Fund Management
Agency.
The committee will meet on Thursday, 29 May 2008 in Senate
Committee Room 2S1, calling:
- the Finance and Deregulation portfolio, commencing with the
Australian Electoral Commission;
- the Human Services portfolio, commencing with the department;
and
- the Department of Climate Change.
Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee
Portfolios allocated: Attorney-General;
Immigration and Citizenship

The committee met from 9.00am until 11.00pm.
The committee called the department and agencies of the
Immigration and Citizenship portfolio, including the Refugee Review
Tribunal and the Migration Review Tribunal.
The committee will meet on Thursday, 29 May 2008 in the Main
Committee Room, again calling the Immigration and Citizenship
portfolio, commencing with the department.
Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport
Committee
Portfolios allocated: Agriculture, Fisheries
and Forestry; Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and
Local Government

The committee met from 9.00am until 11.00pm.
The committee called the department and agencies of the
Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local
Government portfolio, including the Inspector of Transport
Security, the Office of Transport Security, the Civil Aviation
Authority, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, Airservices
Australia, the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional
Economics and the Australian Rail Track Corporation.
The committee will meet on Thursday, 29 May 2008 in House of
Representatives Committee Room 2R1, again calling the
Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local
Government portfolio, commencing with the department.
