2008-09 Supplementary budget estimates

Community Affairs Committee

Portfolios allocated: Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Health and Ageing

The committee met from 9.05am until 3.50pm, pursuant to a resolution of the Senate of 26 August 2008.

The committee:

called the department and agencies of the Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs portfolio, including the Aboriginal Hostels Limited Agency and the Central Land Council;

called the department and agencies of the Human Services portfolio, including Centrelink;

called the Department of Health and Ageing;

called the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations;

called the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet; and

concluded its hearings.
