The Senate agreed to refer the following matters to

Private meeting
The Senate authorised the Legal and Constitutional Affairs
Committee to hold a private meeting while the Senate is sitting on
24 June 2008 from 3.30pm for the committee's inquiry into the
Rights of the Terminally Ill (Euthanasia Laws Repeal) Bill
2008.
Reporting dates extended
The Senate extended reporting dates for the following
inquiries:
- Australia's involvement in peacekeeping operations Foreign
Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee to report by 31 July 2008
- Budget estimates 2008-09 Rural and Regional Affairs and
Transport Committee to report by 25 June 2008

Ordinances (Senator Wortley) gave a notice of motion to disallow

Film Certification Advisory Board Rules 2008, which establish
the Film Certification Advisory Board and specify procedures
governing the Board's operation.

no later than 7 days before the commencement of the budget,
supplementary budget and additional estimates hearings moved by

Notice of motion given
Senator Minchin gave a
notice of motion to require the Minister representing the
Minister for Defence (Senator Faulkner) to table a statement of the
commercial harm that will result from the disclosure of documents
relating to defence procurement projects. [See also Journals of
