Amendment Bill 2008 and 2 related bills [These bills will now be
assented to]
Change to days and hours of meeting
The Senate agreed to vary the
hours of meeting for 23 September 2008 to allow the
Government’s legislative program to be considered.

The Senate agreed to extend the reporting date for the inquiry
of the Economics Committee into matters relating to the gas
explosion at Varanus Island , Western Australia to 13 November
2008.
